The system 

We construct a shelter in which a collection tank is situated, enabling rainwater to be harvested via run off from the roof.  

Dimensions

The system is approximately 3 m long by 3 m wide and 2 m in height with guttering along one edge.

The design

The roof is made from ‘Onduline' corrugated sheets, these are durable and vandal-proof.  The main structure is made from pressure treated softwood and has a guarranteed lifespan of at least 20 years. The 2500 litre plastic tank rests on a heavy-duty hardwood base and has a brass tap allowing users to quickly and easily collect water from the tank. Hose attachments can also be fitted.
