The site

A woodland footpath leading to the Grand Union Canal near Croxley Common Moor (LNR & SSSI).

The brief

To dismantle and dispose of the existing steps and grade the soil to hide the original line, then construct a flight of steps on a new, more gradual line.

The solution

We custom built and installed approximately 30 metres of steps with a connecting boardwalk section leading into a short section of timber edged granite path at the bottom.

The result

Alleviated the council's Health & Saftey concerns over existing dangerous steps by providing a long lasting and usable solution, making this busy path safer and more user friendly.
